No more Microgaming online casinos for U.S. players
Avid online gamblers from the U.S. woke up to
the news that the online casinos powered by the gambling software
developer Microgaming have ceased to take players from the United
States. A big disappointment for all American customers of those
internet casinos, as Microgaming has been held in the highest standards
for over a decade. The majority of the people who gamble on the Internet
have always agreed that the Microgaming online casinos are the best
platform for playing slots and other popular casino games, not to
mention that those gambling websites have always offered the biggest
progressive jackpots and have made many people millionaires overnight
for years. But now all online casinos which utilize the Microgaming
software have effectively stopped accepting players from the USA.
As usual, Microgaming gave no official statement as to
why the decision to leave the U.S. gambling market altogether was made. When the
Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was passed back in the late '06,
Microgaming took the decision to stop allowing players from 11 U.S.A. states to
access the online casinos licensed by the gambling software developer. This act
was seen as the prelude to exiting the US gambling scene soon, but it took the
gambling company more than 2 years before this happened. Some online casinos
utilizing the Microgaming software claimed that the trouble processing payments
to and from the players' accounts was the main reason for the exit out of the
American market, but no official statement has been made on the exit. For those
gamblers in the U.S. looking to find a good substitute to their favorite
